Route: Delhi - Jaipur - Fatehpur Sikri - Agra - Mathura - Vrndavana - Delhi - Kathmandu - Nagarkot - Kathmandu

 

Day 1: Flight to Delhi

Flight to Delhi from your location. Meeting in Delhi airport, transfer to hotel and accommodation. Spend night in a hotel.

We’d kindly ask every tourist don’t make group waiting. Please leave terminal as soon as you pass all checkings.

Day 2: Delhi

After you’ve had a breakfast in the morning, you’ll visit an antique city Delhi. It is a capital of India and situated on the river Yamuna. During the excursion you will see the complexity of monuments of Delhi Sultanate Qutb. These complexity is included into the UNESCO list of World’s legacy. Complexity includes the highest minaret in India called Qutb Minar, stainless iron column built in 4th century, mosque and mausoleum. Afterwards you will visit India’s Gates, Presidential Palace, Baha'i Lotus Temple.

You will be offered to visit additional excursions or opportunity to free time spent in the second half of the day.

Day 3: Delhi - Jaipur (260 km/approx 6 hours)

After a breakfast we will continue to meet Delhi and visit Chhatarpur street full of variety India temples. Every temple’s style is followed by some of the most common style close to specific India’s location. Among variety of styles you will notice Dravidian one, which is popular in Southern India. It differs with its high towers and sculptures from stones. Northern style differs with its high spiers, Western Indian style includes a marble carving. You will visit Chhatarpur temple and Lakshmi Narayan temple which is dedicated to the gods Krishna (Narayan) and his wife Lakshmi. Afterwards you will move to Jaipur - "pink city" - the capital of Rajasthan. After you’ve arrived, you will visit the temple of Lakshmi Narayan, dedicated to the Goddess of Wealth and trimmed with delightful carvings on marble.

Day 4: Jaipur

After breakfast you will visit Fort Amber which is situated on the hill of the fortress-palace. It is one of the best sample of Rajput architecture because of its incredibly beautiful complex of palaces and pavilions, gardens and temples. The way to the fort is similar to maharajas, and you’ll pass it riding an elephant or by jeep. After the noon you will visit City Palace. You will observe there the collections of Mongolian costume, weapons, miniature painting, and the observatory of Jantar. Observatory is the largest stone observatory in the world and has a remarkable collection of incredibly accurate astronomical instruments. You will visit Palace of the Wind called “Hava Mahal”. It was built for court women in order to give them possibility to observe street processions being invisible.

Day 5: Jaipur - Fatehpur Sikri - Agra (240 km./aprox. 5,5 hours)

After breakfast you will have a trip to Agra. On the way to Agra you will visit the "abandoned city" - Fatehpur Sikri, formerly the capital of the Empire of the Great Moguls during the reign of the Great Akbar. This town is included into the UNESCO list of World’s legacy. After you’ve arrived to Agra, you will be accommodated into a previously booked room. Afterwards you will visit Fort Agra where the greatest Mughals (Babur, Humayun, Akbar, Jahangir and Aurangzeb) lived and ruled the country. Then you will visit the greatest Mausoleum of the Great Akbar in Sikandra.

Day 6: Agra - Delhi (205 km/ approximately 5 hours), flight to Katmandu

Early morning you will visit one of the famous world’s wonder Taj Mahal.
It was built by the grief-stricken Emperor Shah Jahan as a sign of love and for long memory of his wife Mumtaz Mahal. Then we will return to hotel to have a breakfast and eviction of the room. By 10:00 we will leave Agra and return to Delhi. On our way we will visit Mathura and Vrindavan. These places are connected with the birth and childhood of Krishna (the God of Love). In Mathura you will visit the Krishna temple of Janam Bhumi. There are special stone slabs which indicates the birthplace of Krishna. In Vrndavana you will see the temple of Banke-Bihari which was built in 1864. The temple is famous for the black statue of Krishna, called the Lord (Thakur Ji). This place is dedicated to Krishna, his brother Balarama and Krishna's best friend Radhe.

THE COMPLEXES OF MATHURA AND VRINDAVAN WILL BE VISITED ONLY IN CASE OF COME ON TIME ON THE FLIGHT TO KATHMANDU.  

After we’ve arrived, we’ll go to the airport to flight to Kathmandu. Afterwards will be a transfer to a hotel.

Day 7: Kathmandu

After a breakfast we will have an excursion via Kathmandu. We will visit a Swayambhunath Temple. It is a Buddhist temple of Swayambhunath, which is located on the top of a hill in the western part of Kathmandu. This temple is one of the most popular places to visit Nepal. You will see a stupa in the top of the hill, which became an important sightseeing. The Swayambhunath temple sometimes called as a "monkey temple" due to the numerous monkey flocks settled on the hill. Monkeys sometimes confuse visitors with various antics and irritate with the ability to steal everything. Then we will visit the Pashupatinath temple. This is a large temple complex of Hinduism which is situated on the river Bagmati. Pashupatinath is considered the most important Shiva temple in the world. (Pashupati, the king of animals, or otherwise the lord of living beings). Every day thousands of pilgrims from all over the world, mainly from Nepal and India, come to Pashupatinath. In period between February and March they celebrate the night of Shiva called Maha-Shivaratri.Annually ten thousand visitors arrive to participate on this ceremonies.

After the lunch we will visit Durbar Square in Kathmandu. It is the largest palace area of the three royal cities (Durbar Square is also in Patan and Bhaktapur). All three areas are recognized by UNESCO as the World Cultural Heritage.

Durbar Square is a complex of historical buildings including Buddhist and Hindu temples, palaces, courtyards and streets in the center of the old city.There are approximately 50 ancient religious temples and monuments of various forms, sizes, styles and creeds.

Day 8: Kathmandu - Pokhara

After a breakfast we will visit Pokhara.

Pokhara is the second largest city in Nepal. According to some data its population is about 200 thousand people. This city  is located on 820 m height in a big valley of Lake Fewa where the river Set flows. The valley is surrounded by high mountains, and protected by the Annapurna massif in the north. On the Western part of Annapurna and on the other side of the valley rises Dhaulagiri. On the eastern part of the Marciandi River is situated the Manaslu mountain range. Afterward we will visit waterfall.

Day 9: Pokhara-Chitwan

After breakfast it will be departure to the 5-hour transfer to the Chitwan National Park. During this we will pass the Terai Plains. Upon arrival will be an accommodation on lodges and excursion via park .

Chitwan National Park ("the heart of the jungle") is one of the main sightseeing in Nepal. It is located 140 km from Kathmandu, and boarded with India. It is a natural valley (area 932 km2), 70% covered with forest of saline trees and located 200 to 700 meters height above sea level. There are two rivers on the park: Narayani and Budhi Rapti.

This park is a home for 25% of the horned rhinos. There are also a number of Bengal tigers, wild buffaloes, a lot of species of deer, leopards and other jungle inhabitants. Total number of species is more than 46 different mammals, 526 any kind of birds, 100 species of fish and 2 different types of crocodiles.

You will be able to watch the wild nature in the park. Also you may ride a boat, make a track in the jungle, ride elephants and much more.

Day10: Departure from Kathmandu.
